Like everyone I have a carbon footprint and even though the power used in the business here at Fine Photos is offset with rooftop solar and I actively recycle, I’m aware that there is more I could do. Contributing to an effective tree-planting program has been on my to-do list for a while.

So now I’m doing it.

I’ve researched multiple tree planting programs, groups and organisations throughout Australia, looking for one that is clear and transparent about their goals, where they have projects running that will restore degraded land, create habitat for wildlife and sequester carbon.

I think I’ve found one that ticks all the right boxes (Carbon Positive Australia), so I’m going to support them and will keep you updated as things move forward. I’ll also talk to them and discuss putting a link here so that if you want to do more, you can. For now, though, this is my commitment -

For every $100 that customers spend buying my artwork I’m going to buy 3 trees.
